The 2012 Michigan Health Sciences Libraries Association (MHSLA) Annual Education Conference is planned for October 17th -19th, 2012 in Novi, Michigan at the Baronette Renaissance Hotel. The MHSLA conference planning team invites our vendor partners to be part of our annual conference. Thursday, October 18th has been designated the day for vendors to exhibit, but there are several opportunities for vendors to sponsor and support the MHSLA conference all three days.
Our theme is, "Librarians Driving Medical Education." This theme reflects the automobile heritage of the Greater Detroit area as well as the emphasis upon health sciences librarians integral role in evidence-based medicine and quality information resources - surely the foundation of medical education. Health information vendors are an integral part of that formula and is why I would like to take this opportunity to invite exhibitors to the conference and let you know what we have planned:
- Increased visibility – The 2012 conference will feature vendors prominently. Exhibitors will be located strategically, increasing you exposure to attendees.
- Multiple sponsored activities – Sponsored activities allow you to spread your message further! There will be opportunities to sponsor breaks, "Breakfast / Lunch and Learn" sessions, and other contributions.
- Attend all conference sessions – Exhibitors will be able to register for the entire 2010 conference and attend all sessions.
- Promote your products before you exhibit - Vendors are welcome to contribute advertising brochures for inclusion in attendee packets. We also encourage vendors to contribute something for our raffle drawing.
- Our conference attendees want to meet you! – The annual MHSLA conference is the only conference many of our members and other regional librarians attend. The manageable size of this conference allows you more one-on-one time with current and future customers than at other conferences.
Prices for participating in 2012 MHSLA conference will remain consistently low as they have in the past and are listed on the accompanying Vendor Registration Form.
