PURPOSE:
To address a need for current marketplace compensation and benefit data
among health sciences libraries in Metropolitan Detroit.
OBJECTIVES:
- Complete a 'value' survey of the institutional members of MDMLG to
assess their usage of the compensation and benefit information
analysis and adjust the full survey instrument.
- Distribute the modified survey instrument to the institutional
members of MDMLG, compile data, and disseminate a report of the survey
results by the end of the calendar year.
- File an annual report and maintain the committee file for the
Archives.
ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
- Completed 'value' survey and used results to modify the full survey
instrument. Fifteen surveys received out of 26 sent.
- Distributed full survey with return expected by the end of June
2002.
- Maintained committee file for archival purposes.
