COMMITTEE OBJECTIVES

  1. To nominate candidates fro election to the offices of President-Elect, Executive Board and Nominating Committee of the Metropolitan Detroit Medical Library Group.
  2. To conduct the 2000/2001 election for said officers and committee members.
  3. To publicize the results for the 2000/2001 election.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS

The Nominating Committee presented the following slate for 2000/2001:

Diane LeBar
Misa Mi
Andrea Rodgers
Nominating Committee Jean Gilbert
Christopher Hunt
Donna Marshall
Patty Scholl
Robin Terebelo

The slate was presented to the Board via phone calls on February 12, 2001 and to the general membership on February 15, 2001.  Ballots, cover letters and biographical sketches were mailed to the general membership on March 9, 2001.  The Election Committee (Nancy Bulgarelli, Nardina Mein and Ellen O'Donnell were present; Sylvia Graham, MDMLG Secretary was unable to attend) counted the ballots on April 12, 2001.  Fifty-nine of the ninety-nine ballots mailed were returned.  One ballot was blank and, therefore, invalid.  Three ballots were returned after the deadline date and were invalid.

The successful candidates were:
