COMMITTEE OBJECTIVES

To nominate candidates for election to the offices of President-Elect, Executive Board, and Nominating Committee of the Metropolitan Detroit Medical Library Group.
To conduct the 2004-2005 election for said officers and committee members.
To publicize the results of the 2004-2005 election.
To submit appropriate materials to the archives.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS

The Nominating Committee presented the following slate:

President-Elect:	Alexia Estabrook
Executive Board (Membership Services Officer):	Doris Blauet
Nominating Committee:	Deborah Charbonneau Toni Janik Christine Miller Andrea Rogers Marie-Lise Shams Patricia Supnick

The slate was presented to the Executive Board via the board listserv on November 19, 2004 and to the membership at the December 2, 2004 business meeting. Ballots, cover letters, and biographical sketches were mailed to the general membership on February 11, 2005. The Election Committee, consisting of Melanie Bednarski, Jennifer Bowen, and Diane LeBar (MDMLG Secretary Dee Calloway was unable to attend), counted the ballots on March 15, 2005. Seventy-nine of the one hundred five ballots mailed were returned. The election results were announced to the membership at the April 4, 2005 general business meeting. The successful candidates were:
