MDMLG Program Committee Annual Report 2006-2007

Promotion of MDMLG Health Sciences Award

Charge:

Complete the planning and implementation of the program portion of the General Membership meetings including any luncheon arrangements if necessary.

The Committee will consist of regular or institutional members including the President-Elect who will serve as chairperson. Members serve for one year.

Goals & Objectives:

To select sites and dates for 2006-2007 General Membership meetings and the first General Membership meeting of 2007-2008.

To select topics of practical and professional interest to the MDMLG membership to enhance the meeting experience.

To arrange and complete all necessary details with the host site and communicate this information to all members.

To conduct the program portion of each meeting professionally and efficiently.

To provide for evaluation of each meeting, including analysis of results.

To maintain communication with the MDMLG Professional Development Committee in order to coordinate all educational opportunities offered to the general membership.

To provide appropriate materials to the MDMLG archive.

Accomplishments

The Program Committee planned and implemented programs in November and March, planned the June 21, 2007 Summer Luncheon and guest speaker, and, and is planning the September 2007 program.
