The Metropolitan Detroit Medical Library Group (MDMLG) is proud to offer a new scholarship to Wayne State University students in the Library and Information Science Program (LISP). The MDMLG Scholarship is awarded to LISP students interested in the medical/health sciences field of librarianship. The Scholarship is intended to promote and introduce students to the specialization of health sciences librarianship. The award encourages students to consider the health sciences courses offered at WSU and provides a full, one year membership to MDMLG, including subscription to the newsletter and an invitation to the yearly banquet, an award certificate, the recipient's name on a plaque displayed in the LISP department, and a monetary award. Applicants must be enrolled in WSUs Library and Information Science Program. Applications can be submitted online or by fax or mail. Deadline for the Spring award is March 1, 2008. Please fill out the form completely. Forms may be submitted electronically, by fax, or by mail. Forms must be received by March 1, 2008.
