MDMLG Health Sciences Award Application

The Metropolitan Detroit Medical Library Group (MDMLG) is proud to offer a scholarship to Wayne State University students in the School of Library and Information Science.  The MDMLG Scholarship is awarded to SLIS students interested in the medical/health sciences field of librarianship.  The Scholarship is intended to promote and introduce students to the specialization of health sciences librarianship.  The award encourages students to consider the health sciences courses offered at WSU and provides a full, one year membership to MDMLG, including access to the newsletter, an award certificate, presentation of the award at the MDMLG summer program and luncheon, the recipient's name on a plaque displayed in the SLIS department, and a monetary award. 

Applicants must be enrolled in WSU's School of Library and Information Science.  Applications can be submitted online, by fax or mail.  Deadline for the Spring award is Friday, March 2, 2012.
