The membership is allowed to make Nominations for the Board and the Nominating Committee from the membership at large by petitions signed by not fewer than ten (10) personal members providing they are submitted in writing to the chair of the Nominating Committee at least seven (7) days before the election. Petitions must be accompanied by a written statement of acceptance from the candidate and biographical sketch.

According to the bylaws, after 30 days, if there have not been any properly obtained petitions for any positions the Board is within its rights to deem the slate elected. The Board may do this because none of the positions are being contested.
