NLM Technical Bulleting posts information on 2007 MeSH changes
From the NLM Technical Bulletin:
Thee following notes explain how PubMed® or searching with PubMed may be affected by changes to MEDLINE® or MeSH® vocabulary for the 2007 system, some of which has been described in the articles listed under Additional Information in the box to the right. Searchers are advised to consider any stored strategies, e.g., My NCBI saved searches, URL links to PubMed, and RSS feeds, which may need to be revised.

I have had many people comment to me that while RSS seems like a solid concept they just don't see how they are going to fit in reading RSS when they already have so much email (and other current awareness stuff) to read. One of the main reasons I enjoy RSS is that it is COMPLETELY anonymous and EXTREMELY easy to unsubscribe to without making SPAM worse. In fact, SPAM is non-existent when you read updates via RSS.
